Position: Veterinary Technician Assistant (Full-Time)<\/p>\n
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring the well-being of our animal patients. The ideal candidate should possess a strong love for animals, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Assist veterinarians in examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures.
\nHandle and restrain animals with care and professionalism.
\nPrepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments.
\nAdminister medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
\nProvide compassionate care and attention to animals in the clinic.
\nPerform laboratory tests, including bloodwork and urinalysis.
\nMaintain cleanliness and hygiene in the clinic and animal enclosures.
\nEducate pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and medication administration.
\nSupport the front desk with client inquiries, appointment scheduling, and record-keeping.
\nRequired Skills:<\/p>\n
A genuine passion for animals and their well-being.
\nExcellent communication skills, both with the veterinary team and pet owners.
\nPrevious experience in a veterinary clinic is preferred but not mandatory.
\nThe ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
\nStrong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
\nA commitment to maintaining a clean and safe clinic environment.
\nKnowledge of basic medical terminology is a plus.
\nFlexibility in working hours, as some evenings and weekends may be required.
